At Lions Basketball Academy, all players selected to one of our competition teams are required to remain enrolled in the Academy’s weekly training program for the duration of the competition season.
Our competition program is built around consistent training, as it plays a vital role in developing individual skills, improving fitness, building team chemistry, and preparing players for games. Regular attendance also enables coaches to implement team strategies and provide ongoing player development throughout the season.
For this reason, competition players cannot withdraw from the training program during the season due to personal scheduling conflicts, travel distance, or participation in other activities. Families are encouraged to carefully consider their availability and commitment before accepting a position on a competition team.
If exceptional circumstances arise, requests may be submitted in writing and will be reviewed by Lions Basketball Academy Management on a case-by-case basis. Approval is at the sole discretion of the Academy and is not guaranteed.
There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $119 upon joining the academy. Training fees are $265 per term. Pro-rated fees may also apply depending on how many weeks your child will be attending during the term.
No, the $119 registration fee is a one-time payment only and is not charged every term.
Yes, we offer flexible part-payment options. Families may choose a 4-week payment plan for training fees and a 2-week payment plan for competition fees.
Please note that we follow a “No Pay, No Play” policy for players participating in competitions and games.
The uniform fee is only required for players joining competitions, as this is the official uniform worn during games. Payment for the uniform is required once your child is ready to participate in competitions.
The training singlet and free academy t-shirt are intended for training sessions only. Issued upon Regustration
