
At Lions Basketball Academy, athlete development goes beyond skills and drills. This year, we proudly partnered with Rise & Conquer CrossFit to deliver a 4-week Strength & Conditioning Program designed specifically for young basketball athletes — and the results have been outstanding.
A Program Built for Youth Basketball Development
The Rise & Conquer Strength & Conditioning Program was carefully structured to support our players in becoming:
- Stronger and more resilient
- Faster and more efficient movers
- More confident and prepared for competition
- Less prone to injury through better movement and recovery habits
This program focused on long-term athlete development, ensuring players are not only performing better now, but also building foundations that will support them for years to come.


Expert Coaching & High-Level Support
The program was delivered by an experienced and passionate coaching team, including:
- Coach Duom – Lions Basketball Academy Head Technical Coach
- Coach Mullz & Coach Job – Rise & Conquer CrossFit
- Coach AJ – Strength & movement support
- Coach Lady – Nutrition, hydration, sleep, and recovery education
Each session was tailored to youth athletes, combining basketball-specific movement with age-appropriate strength training and education.
More Than Just Strength Training
What made this program special was its holistic approach. Alongside physical training, athletes were educated on:
- Proper nutrition and hydration
- The importance of sleep and recovery
- How to fuel their bodies for training and game days
- Building positive habits that support performance and wellbeing
This approach helped players better understand their bodies and take ownership of their development both on and off the court.
